In case you haven’t heard, Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris will undergo a massive transformation in 2026. On March 29, 2026, the park will become Disney Adventure World. With the name change comes the opening of Adventure Way, a new main avenue that will host entertainment, a new Tangled-inspired attraction, a whopping 14 new dining locations, and Adventure Bay, a lake where the park’s new nighttime spectacular will be held.

Of course, there’s one more very big thing we haven’t gotten to yet: World of Frozen. This expansive new land will allow guests to feel completely immersed in the films. The Kingdom of Arendelle was created on a life-size scale and will allow guests to experience a variety of offerings. They include a new family-friendly attraction, a daytime show, a royal meet-and-greet with queens Anna and Elsa, a robotic Olaf, a tavern, and shops galore!

Whether you’re planning a first visit to Disneyland Paris or simply looking for a reason to return, these updates offer a chance to be among the first guests to experience the park’s transformation. We rarely see an entire park reimagined with new lands, dining, entertainment, and headliner attractions all opening on the same day. Plus, who doesn’t love Frozen? Let’s take a look at a few of the highlights!

Adventure Way

Per Disney’s recent announcement, Adventure Way will be a vibrant promenade, featuring lush gardens, live entertainment, and 14 all-new culinary experiences. Guests can expect to find inspiration from classic films in the landscaped gardens. One is considered on the romantic side, featuring Tangled. The other, Toy Story-themed, offers a more playful vibe with statues of Woody and Jessie. Or you might prefer the Gazebo Garden, which offers a nod to classics such as Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and One Hundred and One Dalmatians.

Entertainment offerings include Rapunzel and Flynn’s Musical Encounter in the spring to Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band (summer), Miguel’s Latin Festival in the fall, and a variety of character greetings starting next November. Additionally, Minnie Mouse will lead a Disney Marching Band of 12 musicians playing renditions of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel favorites.

Raiponce Tangled Spin

A new family attraction inspired by Disney’s animated film Tangled will be part of the grand opening. Think spinning, but your ride vehicle is a gondola that’s positioned under an evening sky filled with floating lanterns. The attraction will feature the song “I See the Light” as part of the experience. (Fun fact: Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded the audio announcement.)

Frozen Ever After

As you likely know, a new land like World of Frozen means a new attraction. Frozen Ever After is a family-friendly boat adventure that features state of the art Audio-Animatronics, advanced projection mapping, and dazzling light effects.

This boat ride adventure travels thorugh a snowy forest, the Valley of Trolls, and up to Elsa’s glittering ice palace. Guests can expect to see favorites like Anna, Elsa, and their friends throughout the ride. Disney also mentions the ride has a breathtaking finale over Arendelle Bay.

Disney Cascade of Lights

Another highlight only briefly mentioned above is the park’s new nighttime spectacular. At park close, Adventure Bay will set the stage for Disney Cascade of Lights, a 360-degree show that serves as the grand finale to a day spent at World of Adventure! Said to be inspired by Disney’s Animation, Pixar, and Marvel Universe, the show will offer hundreds of drones, choreographed fountains, water screens, and pyrotechnics accompanied by an orchestral score.
