Here are a few frequently asked questions that we get when guests plan a trip to Walt Disney World.

When is the best time to visit Disney World?

This can vary somewhat each year and season and would depend largely on events and openings scheduled in the Theme Parks.  Generally speaking, some specific days in January and February can be ideal.

Additionally, the second half of August and historically, September, will see smaller crowds and lower hotel rates as kids go back to school. Weekdays in November and December leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a great way to enjoy the parks. This time of year also provides the opportunity to celebrate the magic of the holiday season without facing large crowds.

How far in advance should I book my Disney World vacation?

While there is no wrong time to book a Disney stay, the earlier you book is usually better. Booking can vary from destination to destination, and if you’re looking to book during a peak season – like spring break, Christmas, etc. – it’s generally advised to book at least six months in advance.

No matter how far in advance you book, we will monitor your reservation to ensure that you are receiving the lowest possible price based on promotions and current offers.

How much time should I allow for my Disney World vacation?

A week ( 6-7 days) is usually the minimum amount of time needed to see almost everything in the theme parks. If you plan a shorter trip, be sure that it is focused to make the most of every minute. Some people prefer to allow an extra day in their itinerary for relaxation, enjoying the pools, and resort.

Do I need to include the Park Hopper option in my tickets?

Including the Park Hopper option with your tickets gives you the greatest flexibility possible . If you want the chance to visit more than one park each day than adding Park Hopper ticket is a good decision.

You can utilize the Park Hopper to try restaurants located in an alternate theme park or return to your favorite ride or fireworks show in the evening. Keep in mind that you will pay the same price if you add it for one day or for all the days of your trip; so, if you think you will want it, it is a good idea to add it at the start of your trip.

What is included with a Disney Dining Plan?

Disney has four different dining plans to choose from. Each plan offers a different combination of snack credits and meals that you can use throughout your stay . Your group can enjoy delicious pre-paid meals, snacks and specialty beverages at any one of 90 full service restaurants or quick service dining locations at the theme parks, resorts or Disney Springs.

You can choose from more than 25 Disney Resort hotels on property , and you can include access to all four theme parks, two water parks and more than 200 dining locations, and much more.
