Spring is in full bloom at EPCOT! Celebrating its 30th year, The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival kicked off on March 5th. This vibrant, fun, and beautiful festival has great entertainment, activities, and food for everyone to experience through June 2nd, 2025. I recently visited Epcot and experienced Flower & Garden for the first time. From snacking to topiaries to a fun scavenger hunt, here is my guide to explore all this festival has to offer.

A Celebration of Spring: Topiaries and Gardens

Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival celebrates the season of spring with lush gardens and beautifully sculpted topiaries throughout the park. With over 30 topiaries, you’re sure to encounter some favorite characters brought to life by the amazing Disney horticulturists. These topiaries and gardens are breathtaking and the detail is something to behold. Some of my favorites included Figment, Beauty and the Beast, and Anna and Elsa. Various themed gardens are also placed around the park, these are meticulous in design and color. There are a lot of different gardens to experience, including a new Inside Out 2 – Emotional Garden and (my favorite) the English Tea Garden. Take the time to slow down and experience the beauty of this festival!

Outdoor Kitchens & Garden Graze Activity

Is it an EPCOT festival without amazing themed food booths to experience? The Flower & Garden Festival has over 20 outdoor kitchens to experience, filled with fresh ingredients to enjoy. There are so many amazing dishes to try. In keeping with a theme to spring, there are a lot of plant based options to try during this festival. This is a fun experience and leads you to try some unique and different dishes. Some of my favorites that I would not normally order included the IMPOSSIBLE Beef Farmhouse Meatball from Trowel & Trellis and the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob from Beach Grub.

If you’re looking to try multiple food booths, it’s always fun to participate in the Garden Graze festival activity. Once you obtain your Festival Passport from your point of entrance at EPCOT, you’ll find a guide at the back of your passport that lists food items and locations to collect stamps to complete the Garden Graze. Once you’ve had 5 items and have your stamps in your Passport, you can redeem for a prize at the Pineapple Promenade Outdoor Kitchen. This year the prize is an amazing Pineapple Dole Whip with Vanilla Swirl in a keepsake cup and a packet of wildflower seeds to plant at home. We tried a lot of great items and have some favorites I hope will return for next year!

Entertainment & Festival Activities

With all the beautiful flowers and colors comes some special spring themed activities and experiences with Flower & Garden. Located near the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT, the special Butterfly Landing can be found. This special addition allows you to observe many species of butterflies close up. It is beautiful and fun to experience, you might even experience a butterfly hatching!

There are also a lot of fun activities for kids including multiple themed outdoor playgrounds. Our favorite activity was the Spike Pollen Nation Exploration scavenger hunt. A scavenger hunt map is available for purchase at selection locations in the park. This map will have you hunt down Spike the Bee on his pollination trail throughout various parts of Epcot, find the sticker matching the area and flower. It can be more challenging than you think! Spike likes to hide very well in some of the gardens throughout Epcot. Once you’ve completed your Scavenger Hunt Map, you can redeem for a prize at select locations. The prize choices this year are adorable. You can choose from a Spike the Bee, Orange Bird, the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland, or Mickey Mouse watering can.

Lastly, for entertainment, there is a fun concert line up called the Garden Rocks Concert Series located at the American Gardens Theatre. This series has various artists perform throughout the festival including 98 Degrees and The Plain White T’s. You can plan out your festival trip to catch a concert featuring one of your favorite musicians.

If you love flowers, food, and springtime weather, this festival is the one for you! Even better to have a travel advisor help you map out your Flower & Garden Festival day to enjoy all this festival has to offer.
